Within the framework of cooperation agreements and several ongoing research and educational projects delegation from the Arctic University of Norway and the Municipality of Tromsø (Norway) visited MMBI KSC RAS on the 3rd of December, 2013.
Associate director of the Institute Dr. Professor Pavel R. Makarevich delivered introduction. Long-lasting and fruitful cooperation of our Institute and our Norwegian colleagues since 1988 was highlighted.

Deputy director for science PhD Denis V. Moiseev presented a talk about the structure of the Institute, its main activities and achievements in various fields. Laboratories of MMBI KSC RAS whose representatives attended the meeting were mentioned also.
After taking traditional collective pictures leading researcher from zoobenthos laboratory Dr. Victor S. Zenzerov escorted the delegation to the aquaria room, where he demonstrated one of the important research areas of the Institute – investigation of red king (kamchatka) crab in captivity.
