The first stage of an integral expedition aboard RV "Dalnie Zelentsy" in the Barents and Greenland Seas has been completed. Oceanological and hydrobiological works were carried out in the region of the polar front and fjords of the Spitsbergen archipelago. In Barentsburg, the MMBI staff joined the expedition team, they carried out a scientific program within the framework of the state task "Comprehensive studies of fjords and seas ecosystems washing the Spitsbergen archipelago" in March-April. The second stage of the expedition involves conducting integral studies in the area of an ice edge in the Barents Sea between the Spitsbergen archipelago and Franz Josef Land. RV "Dalnie Zelentsy" went to sea on May 13, 2018, again.
