14 – 20 March 2016 Murmansk joined the V All-Russian week of high technology and entrepreneurship, the aim of which is to attract students to problems of high-tech research and acute problems of the present, as well as stimulation of high school students learning interest in technical universities and further work in modern high industrial areas. A lot of popular science activities of various forms are planned for the week.
March 15, 2016, First Deputy Director for Science Professor P.R. Makarevich took part in the scientific and popular talk show "Temporarily available - Things to ask". The topic of discussion was the "mystery", festering issue: "What would animals said, if they could talk?" Students of grammar schools, polytechnic lyceum students, Murmansk State Technical University students came to a cafe NAR to get answers to their questions.
Professor Pavel Makarevich attended a meeting (16, March) with students at the atomic icebreaker "Lenin" in the framework of "Science in the people" event and spoke about the role of man in science and the place of research in the modern tech world.
