On January 19, in the town of Snezhnogorsk (a closed administrative-territorial unit or ZATO of Aleksandrovsk), an enlarged meeting of the pedagogical council of the school № 269 was held. Teachers, schoolchildren and their parents, representatives of the ZATO education authority, as well as Murmansk experts: Valentina Solovyova, a specialist from the Murmansk information center for nuclear energy, and Zaporozhtsev Ivan, Ph.D. in Engineering Science, a scientific employee of the Laboratory of Oceanography and Radioecology of MMBI. Participants discussed prospects for organizing research efforts and implementing of school start-ups, and also exchanged views on the possibilities for cooperation.
