RV "Dalnie Zelentsy" left Murmansk port and headed to the Kara Sea.

In August-September 2015, RV "Dalnie Zelentsy" will implement complex oceanographic and hydrobiological research of the Kara Sea in the framework of contract with "Krasnoyarskgazprom Neftegazproekt." The expedition group included six members of the Institute, as well as specialists IO RAS and MSU. The plans of the expedition include sampling and ichthyologic trawling on more than 250 stations, hydrology, hydrochemistry, meteorology, zoology, pollution and other data collection. The expedition will last about 60 days.
