The 5th of August for MMBI RAS was marked by the visit of cosmonauts of The Federal Space Agency 'Roscosmos' and specialists of Gagarin Research&Test Cosmonaut Training Center. The delegation of 14 people came to the Institute for a scientific and practical seminar. The scientists told the guests about MMBI's main branches of work and current research. In turn, the cosmonauts told about the research conducted in the Russian segment of the International Space Station, the prospects of creating a Russian orbital station to solve the problems of remote probing of the Earth and environmental monitoring. They also discussed possible cooperation in this area. In addition, Denis Matveev, Hero of the Russian Federation, Russian pilot-cosmonaut , Head of the Department of Gagarin Research&Test Cosmonaut Training Center, made a report.
