An unusual story came to attention of journalists from GTRK Murman: a European herring gull has become attached to one of the citizens Murmansk. The woman regularly feeds the seagull, and the seagull in turn always seems to greet her with joy. Such manifestations can be mistaken for friendship or even for bird's love of a human.
Anastasia Gurba, a trainee researcher at the MMBI Laboratory of Ornithology and Parasitology, gave a commentary explaining the gull's behavior.
