On the 17-18th of October 2011 Project meeting dedicated to radiation safety of EuroArctic region “CEEPRA” will take place.

On the 17-18th of October 2011 Project meeting dedicated to radiation safety of EuroArctic region “CEEPRA” (Collaboration Network on EuroArctic Environmental Radiation Protection and Research) will take place in Murmansk Marine Biological Institute. Scientists from Russia, Finland and Norway will present first results of joint researches, specify and coordinate further activities.

Within the bounds of the meeting on the 17th of October 2011 in 10:00 open workshop will take place «Environmental Radiation in the Euro-Arctic region. Status and cooperation between Russia, Finland and Norway», where public will be informed about the latest radio-ecological problems, history of international cooperation, development and major achievements of scientists from the Barents region in the field of radiation protection, monitoring and emergency preparedness. Members of public environmental organizations, scientists and students, as well as interested parties are invited to attend the workshop.
