On September 11-13, Vladivostok hosted the Eastern Economic Forum – a major platform for fostering domestic and international business cooperation across investment sectors. The MMBI delegation, represented by Director Mikhail Makarov and Deputy Director for Science Denis Moiseev, signed a cooperation agreement with China's Polar Research Institute.
The agreement facilitates joint Arctic research in the Svalbard archipelago and North Pole region through collaborative marine expeditions and Arctic station observations, knowledge exchange at conferences and symposia, development of training programs, establishment of joint laboratories, and sharing of research data and technologies in priority fields.
