MMBI Specialists Presented Reports at Conference on Arctic and Subarctic Relief

On December 12-13, the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI) hosted the 11th annual international conference "Relief and Quaternary Formations of the Arctic, Subarctic, and Northwestern Russia", organized by VNIIOkeangeologia and AARI. The event focused on current field and expedition research results from seasonal campaigns.

Over 70 thematic reports (including posters) were presented by participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Magadan, Tiksi, Vladivostok, Murmansk, Apatity, as well as international researchers from Belarus, Israel, Canada, the UK, and Pakistan. Conference proceedings were published in the eponymous journal now indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index.

MMBI RAS researchers Alexey Namyatov, Irina Usyagina, Nikita Meshcheryakov, and Natalia Ivanova delivered three reports in the "Arctic and Subarctic" section:
