17 июля в рамках фестиваля в целях популяризации исторических, культурных и природных богатств субъектов Российской Федерации прошёл «Марафон регионов России». Заместитель директора по науке ММБИ, председатель Мурманского отделения РГО Денис Моисеев в блиц-формате представил яркий доклад на тему «Кольское Заполярье. Здесь начинается Россия».
From July 12 to 20, 2025, the VI Russian Geographical Society Festival was held in Moscow's Zaryadye Park. At this large-scale event, representatives from Russian regions gathered to tell guests of all ages about different corners of our country and their wonders. Scientists and educators, writers and artists, travelers and tour operators prepared hundreds of free educational master classes, lectures, quizzes, and film screenings.
On July 17, as part of the festival, the "Marathon of Russian Regions" took place, aimed at promoting the historical, cultural, and natural wealth of the subjects of the Russian Federation. MMBI RAS Deputy Director for Science and Murmansk Regional Branch of the RGS Chairman Denis Moiseev, presented a vibrant blitz report on "The Kola Arctic. Here Russia Begins."
