May the 21st– Polar Explorer's Day in Russia!

21 мая 2025

On May the 21st, 1937, the world's first drifting scientific station, "North Pole-1," began its work. Courageous, dedicated, and committed people embarked on this station to conduct research in the Arctic.

Today, people of various professions, including scientists, continue to live and work in the Arctic – maintaining and developing infrastructure, conducting scientific research, implementing industrial projects, and supporting the operation of the Northern Sea Route.

We congratulate everyone whose life and professional activities are connected with the Arctic, its study, and its development!
