It is with great joy and pride that we inform you that on th 15th of October, in the the Saint Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia Dissertation Council the successful defense of Ekaterina Obluchinskaya's dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences took place. Ekaterina is a MMBI RAS Zoobenthos laboratory leading researcher and heads the Research Group of Biochemistry and Technology of Hydrobionts of Algae and Invertebrates. The positive decision on her doctoral thesis “Cascade technologies for drug production from Arctic brown algae using QbD tools” was made unanimously.
