An enlarged meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute with representatives from the Presidium of the Kola Scientific Center Russian Academy of Sciences took place.

November 23, 2015 Institute held an extended meeting of the Scientific Council with a representative of the Presidium of the Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The first question of agenda was "On the participation of the Institute in implementation of the integration project "Creation in the Murmansk region of the Federal Research Center "Kola Scientific Centre Russian Academy of Sciences" was presented by the Acting Chairman of the Kola Science Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences professor Yu.L. Voytekhovsky, who called MMBI to join the FRC KSC. Leading scientists of the Institute participated in the discussion. As a result of a secret ballot the Academic Council of the Institute decided that it is inappropriate for MMBI to be involved in the implementation of the integration project.
