Academician G.G. Matishov has commented political and socio-economic situation of the South of Russia

Academician G.G. Matishov has told readers of “Poisk” newspaper about his works of social and humanitarian orientation and scientific works on military history. G.G. Matishov noted that the purpose of their created led research group proceedings was the analysis of various scenarios in the South of Russia and modeling of risks and dangerous situations. "In our publications," wrote Academician G.G. Matishov, "we tried to analyze the lessons of history and make conclusions from them, weigh strengths and weaknesses of the Russian policy, to objectively assess its strengths and opportunities, give predictions".
