A scientific research veteran RV Dalniye Zelentsy had set sail for the northeast part of the Barents Sea on the 1st of October. The expedition is headed for the hard to get area of the Arctic, where the crew had been working last year. The scientific purpose of the expedition is data sampling for a holistic analysis and prognosis of ecosystem processes of the Barents Sea.
