MMBI scientists in collaboration with a joint crew of different scientific organizations made an expedition on RV Dalniye Zelentsy. It lasted from August 15 to September 14. The crew has sampled 123 stations. The goal to obtain reliable information on the state of the environment of the Barents-Kara Sea region was set to ensure rational and sustainable nature management. The crew made demersal trawl surveys, observations on birds and marine mammals, took samples for determining hydrometeorological parameters and pollutants concentration.
